Listen to Horrible Crowes Album

Rolling Stones Magazine streamed the new Horrible Crowes album, and you can listen to it here.

Biloxi Parish Review

The new song by The Gaslight Anthem is definitely catchy. It shows the classics style of The Gaslight Anthem and shows the influence of Bruce Springsteen. The song is like a rock roll love song. It is very energetic with a good beat. It definitely will be a hit.

New Gaslight Anthem Song - "Biloxi Parish"

Check out a new song by the Gaslight Anthem entitled "Biloxi Parish." It's a song that they have been playing live recently, and now a professional recording of it (live) has popped up. Check it out!

Download it here.

Check out the lyrics:

I've been fondling with your heart strings,
And that's good enough for me,
And if I break over your house,
And I know I must been working,
Trying hard, beside my darling,
See what man you can make of me,
I will eventually haunt you,
And you'll eventually will be my queen,

And I've been with you through the dark,
So let you I,
Go through the dark alone
All alone

I've been down at Biloxi Parish,
And that's good enough for me,
I found that nothing truly matters,
That you cannot find for free,
I love you more than can I tell you,
When you pass from this world,
I hope you ask to take me with you
So I don't have to wait for long

But until then I'll be with you through the dark,
Till then I'll be with you from the dark,
Who else can say that about you, baby
Who else can say that about you, now
Who else can say all your blood and your curses
Nobody I've seen a hanging around
Seen a hanging around

I aint seen my home in half a year
I miss my mother and my friends
We still real
And I've been playing
For all that troubles to finally end
But When this whole thing is over
And we land in asbury's arms
And the bands all quiets down
And it's you and me in the dark
I won't say anything at all
Cuz that's how I know your heart
I won't say nothing
Cuz that's how I know your heart.

Who else can say that about you, baby
Who else can say that about you, now
Who else can say all your blood and your curses
Nobody I've seen a hanging around
Seen a hanging around

Who else can say that about you, baby
Who else can say that about you, now
Who else can say all your blood and your curses
Nobody I've seen a hanging around
Seen a hanging around

The Horrible Crowes, Brian Fallon's side project

Brian Fallon has a side project called The Horrible Crowes. While the band's blog (which is pretty bare at the moment, save for a few lyrics and a whereabouts update) says that the band was formed back in fall of 2010, it has only recently gotten some attention, with Brian posting on his blog about the band. At the time of the formation, The Gaslight Anthem were still touring and still basking in the warm glow of the attention they got from American Slang. While that album is still one to listen to all the time, the Gaslight Anthem are resting for a little bit, before following up Slang with something just as good, supposedly to be released 2012. So, Brian has decided to come out with some info about this new band, which features him and Ian Perkins, a fellow musician, hailing from the UK. He describes the band as being as if "Tom Waits, the National, the Afghan Whigs, Bon Iver, and Nick Cave made a band with Percy Sledge that'd be called The Horrible Crowes." So there you go. Some songs will be put out once they actually start recording, not demoing, like they are right now. We're all excited about this one, and I'm sure these two will not let us down!

About This Blog

I created this blog because, I noticed that there weren't a lot of fan sites for The Gaslight Anthem (a.k.a TGA) and because they are one of my favorite bands, hence the reason it's called Gaslight Anthem Fans. The Gaslight Anthem is made up of Brian Fallon (lead singer,) Alex Rosamilla (guitar,) Alex Levine (bass,) and Benny Horowitz (drums.) They are a post punk band that are a lot like Springsteen. Read more about them in the about page at the top.
