About The Gaslight Anthem
The Gaslight Anthem is a post-punk band that grew up on Springsteen. The four members include Brian Fallon (Guitar/Vocals), Alex Rosamilla (Guitar), Alex Levine (Bass), and Benny Horowitz (Drum/Percussion.) Originally, Gaslight Anthem was This Charming Man, with just Fallon, Levine, and Horowitz. It didn't work out.A few years later, they got Rosamilla and changed their name to the Gaslight Anthem, and got a deal with Side One Dummy Records. Their first album, "Sink or Swim" is about how they had to rely on each other. They could sink or swim. "The '59 Sound" was made because of a deadline set by Side One Dummy Records, and it's about jazz, and when it became popular. You find out why "American Slang" was made.

They are a post punk band that are a lot like Springsteen. Read more about them in the about page at the top.
